ORGT has a wide variety of equipment available
for whitewater activities, including kayaks, canoes, rafts, paddles, spray
skirts, PFDs, helmets, wet suits, spray tops, and throw ropes.
This gear is available for rent by GT students who have satisfied the requirements set forth by the subcommittee overseeing the use of that particular equipment. In most cases, that involves completing the school sponsored by that subcommittee and passing a series of tests, though there are certain circumstances under which students with previous whitewater experience may rent gear without completing the school. Gear is sometimes made available to non students who are active participants in the ORGT whitewater instructional program.
Gear is available for use by all participants free of charge during ORGT pool sessions.
