  Camp sites: Many near Earls Ford, Sandy Ford

  Special Condsiderations: This hike's difficulty stems from its length and the many intersecting trails. Follow the metallic diamond blazes. Be sure to allow plenty of daylight hours to do the hike. Keep in mind the long shuttle. Also, there are two signifcant stream crossings on this trail -- West Fork and Warwoman Creek; be prepared to put on Tevas and brave the cold water!

  Other Notes:The trail has great views of the Chattooga "Wild and Scenic" River.

  General Direction to TH: 85 North to 985 North to 23 North to Clayton to 76 East to Chattooga (one end) continue east to Chattooga Ridge Trail Turn Left and At 28 Turn left to 28 West to Chattooga

  Round Trip Distance: 300 miles

  One Way Travel Time: 3 hrs

  Shuttle Time: 1 hour
